Product Manager

    Aeris Therapeutics is dedicated to the development and commercialization of innovative therapies that improve the lives of patients with emphysema and other advanced lung disease. Aeris will recruit a Product Manager to be based at its Woburn, MA, USA headquarters, to immediately support the commercialization activities of its lead product, AeriSeal®. The Product Manager will support the European sales office, and assist future planning, and support broader global launch.

    Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
    • Recommend strategy and tactics for the designated product line; facilitate the implementation of strategy to achieve the budgeted financial targets.
    • Provide collaborative leadership in the management of the designated product line lifecycle; research and update business plan.
    • Develop globalized materials for training, education, and collateral.
    • Provide stewardship to KOL and advisory board programs for product and therapy validation.
    • Recommend and support operational initiatives to improve marketing efficiencies and company profitability.
    • Collaborate with executive management to implement global product positioning, branding, and reimbursement.
    • In collaboration with executive management, support development of and maintain operating plan and budget.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager.
    • Develop sales collateral
    • Develop sales training program
    • Manage and update annual events calendar, including National and regional conventions, and Training workshops
    • Coordinate company participation at conventions and sponsored workshops
    • Collaborate with KOLs in development of publications, white papers and abstracts
    • Develop and coordinate advertising programs
    • Develop and coordinate centralized lead management system and manage their dissemination to relevant sales teams and maintain up-to-date follow-up status and sales pipeline.
    • Corporate website development, integrated international sales features: Patient referrals, International distributor contacts, and International order service-desk contacts

    Qualifications:
    • Ability to work with colleagues to drive consensus on product line commercialization decisions across geographies and functions.
    • Understanding of differences in market needs and clinical practice patterns internationally.
    • Ability to develop and support execution of programs to create product awareness and drive adoption in international markets.
    • Track record of successful development of product sales and clinical training and teaching materials.
    • Ability to present in both formal presentations and in one-on-one interactions.
    • Strong formal and informal communication skills.
    • Self-structured self-starter, capable of performing assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
    • Good understanding of medical regulatory environment.
    • Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of international marketing or a combination of international sales and marketing experience with interventional medical device products.
    • Have the ability to travel up to 50%.
    • An MBA and European business experience with demonstrated success in a start-up company environment are a plus.
    • Prior management experience preferred.

    • Languages: German; Italian or French a plus
    • Computer literacy: MS Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management software
